Four Months Old!

Gosh I feel like I was just pregnant, I can't believe Talon is (a little over) 4 months old now! He has changed our life in sooo many ways and I cannot picture our life without him.  He definitely is our little angel from God, he is the sweetest little man!

Some of the new things I have noticed him doing:

  

He can put out his arms when you reach for him

He now grabs for things especially his paci he knows right where that goes :)

He goes crazy in his jumper, he jumps for a half hour straight! 

You sleep from 9 pm -5 am (sometimes)! 

You love watching your fisher price dvd's on nature and puppets lol

He is defenitly teething his whole fist, fingers, and whatever else he has are always in his mouth!

You laugh more frequently and are always smiling

Always cooing and "talking" 

You now grab for the kitty and dog

He loves to jump in this thing!

Unanswered...and then Answered Prayers.

So last night we received great news!! Not everyone may know but in late March we had made a very tough decision to move out our home that we purchased last April.  Due to us  both having to look for new jobs because of the economy and other events we needed to rent out our home :/  It was such a tough decision because we love our house and imagining someone else calling it home was so tough!  We found a renter right away and moved into Dan's (Tanner's dad) house.  Which has been such a blessing and we are sooo incredibly lucky to have that as an option and for Dan to be so gracious!   We have lived here in Ahwatukee for about 6 months and occasionally we pass by our house, and talk about moving back there all the time. We miss it so much!  The lease wasn't originally supposed to be up until next April but due to unforeseen events they need to move out at the end of this month. God is truly amazing and our prayers were answered!  I didn't understand why moving out was part of his plan but now I sure do. I feel so blessed and Tanner and I have both learned so much from this crazy time in our life. God is good!...... So needless to say we are soo excited and look forward to soo many things. So many that I have created a little list :)

1.  It's our first home and we LOVE it!
2.  Talon will now take his first steps there!
3. We LOVE gilbert and the neighborhood for several reasons including the dog park close by
4.  I feel like it symbolizes our success (me being a mushy girl)
5.  I want to decorate and paint and have our belongings around us.  Including pictures of our handsome boy!
6.  Being 5 minutes away from Beth's and 10 min away from work!
7. Gaining a social life again (which has changed of course with the baby)
8. Being organized again

Umm thats all I can think of right now and I bet that was pretty boring. But we are ecstatic!!   So we are going to for sure have alittle Party once we are all moved in :)  I can't find any front of the house pics so these are from inside last October oh and Halloween :)

Chubbas!

Soo I just thought I would share some of Talon's super cute pictures that we have taken lately for everyone  :)  Talon's Uncle Nate bought him a Minnesota Viking's jersey and it's super cute because it matches his daddy's!  Although I personally think that Talon looks better in green and gold, he is so handsome either way.  As you can see Tanner and his dad look so much alike and so does the baby, I can't wait until Tanner's grandparents come down from Minnesota so we can get a pic of all four generations. 

We just went to Tanner's brother Zane's going away party last week. He is joining the army and is leaving this next week so he was thrown a surprise party.  It was great to see Chels, Zane and their boys, they are getting so big! We will definitely miss Zane when he is gone but he is doing such a great thing for our country!

My dad came in town last week to meet Talon for the the first time! He was so excited and so was I.  It was a short visit but just enough time for him to remember how much work (and fun) a baby is! We really didn't do too much besides go out to eat and hang out at home since it was still over a 100 here..ugh!  Needless to say my dad had lots of fun with Talon, and it was so neat to see my dad being goofy with Talon...

3 month update!

I can't believe our baby boy is 3 months!! I love how he is learning so much every day.  He definitly knows who his mommy and daddy are, he leans toward either of us when we come home :) He has found his voice which he has been cooing and babbling since about 2 months old.  When Tanner "roars" at him he "roars" right back its the cutest thing ever. He also just got a jumper which he loves, he gets so excited when he realizes that he is the one moving it!  And if anyone didn't know he is looking more and more like his daddy when he was a baby, no more darker hair spots..it is all super blonde!  He almost sleeps  through the night, he is still a little piggy and needs a snack in the middle of the night. We put him to sleep in his crib and then when he wakes up for his snack he goes in bed with us.  It may not be the best practice but I get the most sleep that way and I think Talon likes it too :)   Here are some updated pictures.

Talon's 3 month pictures!

So today for me was super fun! Tanner is not a fan of pictures at all, but I was just so excited to get our first official family pictures taken today.  I have always imagined having my own little family and getting pictures taken at every special milestone.  So my goal is to take pics every 3 months during Talon's first year.

Well I decided to go to Sear's because Nicole got her little girls pictures done there once and they turned out great.  I recieved a coupon in the mail for a free sitting and a coupon for $7.99 package deal.   Well let me tell you do not go to Sears thinking that is all you are going to spend! Needless to say I spent way to much but I couldn't resist all the cute poses they took of us and Talon....
